DeGray Lake, under U.S. Corps of Engineers management, is renowned for its fishing (largemouth bass, hybrids and other game fish species), and it's well served by two popular resorts. DeGray Lake Resort State Park has a 96-room lodge and convention center, restaurant, marina and a full complement of other facilities that includes a scenic 18-hole championship public golf course. Better Homes and Gardens magazine has included DeGray in its "Top 30 Family Resorts in the United States." Iron Mountain Lodge and Marina has the only fully-equipped lakeside cottages and its own full-service marina featuring ski boats, party barges, small fishing boats and houseboats.

DeGray Lake was created in 1972 with the damming of the Caddo River. The lake has 13,800 surface acres of water and 207 miles of shoreline.
