What Every Resident Knows

Newcomers say they've never waved so much in their lives until they moved to Arkadelphia. Everyone waves, and naturally, it's only proper to wave back. Once people are familiar with your car, they'll wave at that, too (you don't even have to be in it). Football fever runs high in the fall. The only place to be on a Friday night is at Arkadelphia High to watch the Badgers in action. The stands are filled no matter the season's going. Win or lose, it's a fun night out for the family. Arkadelphia is truly an equal opportunity employer. Group Living, Inc. a private nonprofit group, successfully trains people with developmental disabilities to be integrated into the work force. Using college students as partners (they help with shopping, life-style decisions), the program has been cited as a model for the country.
